Machine Maintenance and Repair

The Quilters Garden Shop is here to help you take care of your machine! We have in-house certified technicians to provide maintenance and repair services.

To keep your machine running in tip-top shape, it requires a periodic inspection and tune up which we call a general service. During a general service, our technicians will perform an inspection, deep cleaning, and adjustment of over two dozen points.

This can sometimes catch issues before they become problems that ruin your projects or require costly repairs.

The most common issues that general service fixes includes:

• Bad tensions,

• Skipped stitches,

• Breaking threads or needles,

• Distorted decorative stitches,

• Stiff or sluggish movement,

• Unusual noises.

We recommend that you have your machine serviced annually.

To have your machine serviced or repaired, simply bring it into the store during any of our normal hours. Please bring a zigzag foot, foot control, power cord, and any other accessories that you would like us to look at. If you need work done on a certain schedule, give us a call and we will do our best to work with you.

• $149 – Large-frame sewing machines such as the Viking Epic line, the Viking Designer Ruby 90, and the Pfaff Icon line.
• $139 – Computerized sewing machines and sergers.
• $125 – Non-computerized sewing machines and sergers.

• $45 – Embroidery Recalibration
• $45 – Hourly Labor
