Get Your Dresden Plate Block On!
Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you'll transform an everyday garment into a unique piece of wearable art! We'll be appliqueing a beautiful handmade Dresden Plate Quilt Block (sourced from a traditional quilt) onto the back of a jacket, shirt, vest, or any clothing item you choose. These classic Dresden Plate blocks are perfect for adding a pop of vintage charm and color.
We provide the hand-stitched Dresden blocks, so no need to worry about piecing them yourself. Just bring your own item to decorate, (a denim jacket works great for durability and style!) along with basic sewing supplies.
Supplies to bring:
*Sewing Machine, cords and foot pedal.
*Thread, Off White or Cream and a filled matching bobbin
*Straight pins
*A Kit will be provided:
Kit will include a Hand Stitched Dresden Block and any additional Stabilizer.

She has delighted our community with "show and tell" sessions featuring her unique embellished jackets, full of personality and expert touches. Ann's experience and enthusiasm make her the perfect guide for this hands-on class!
